cobblewagen's video: 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Barn Find First Start and Drive

@1989 Toyota Supra Turbo Barn Find, First Start and Drive
1989 Toyota Supra purchased from original owner, July 2014. It sat untouched in the original owners garage from 2005 to 2014, and in my garage until 2016 - 11 years total before being driven again. The car was in non-running shape due to a blown head gasket and a multitude of other mechanical issues. Interior is in pretty good shape, some light sun damage. Since purchase, I have done the following: - Rebuilt the 7M-GTE engine - Upgraded CT-26 turbo and fuel system - Swapped Auto to R154 5-Speed Manual Transmission - Replaced dash and door panels - White MKIV TT wheels to keep the OEM white package look 7M-GTE Engine Specs: Cometic multilayered steel head gasket ARP Head Studs .040" over pistons 550cc RC Fuel Injectors Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator AEM 320LPH fuel pump CT-26 57 trim turbo Lexus 1UZ-FE Airflow Meter 3" downpipe, fishmouth Tanabe "Touring Medalion" exhaust Fidanza lightweight flywheel ARP flywheel bolts Energy Suspension polyurethane engine mounts (Modified Jeep CJ--7 engine mounts 2.1102R) Energy Suspension engine damper CX Racing intercooler and aluminum piping T-bolt clamps on all charge piping MKIV Supra OEM bypass valve NGK iridum plugs (one step colder) K&N intake Apexi SAFC-II tuner Innovate MTX-L wideband Autometer boost gauge Turbonetics manual boost controller Silicone hoses everywhere Fluidyne Aluminum Radiator R154 Transmission specs: Chromoly thrust washer Chromoly bearing retainer Billet shift forks (all 3) Driftmotion full face clutch ARP pressure plate bolts Marlin Crawler delrin shifter bushings One piece drive shaft with Spicer u joints Energy Suspension transmission mount (GM RWD transmission mount 3.1108R) Driftmotion synchronizers OEM seal kit OEM Nachi/Koyo bearing kit Suspension specs: Eibach lowering springs Tokico Illumina II shocks (TEMS compatible) ST Sway bars front and rear Energy Suspension control arm bushings Energy Suspension sway bar bushings Energy Suspension adjustable sway bar end links front and rear MOOG inner and outer tie rod ends MOOG lower ball joints Driftmotion rear subframe spacers Brake specs: Front - Brembo 4 pot calipers from Mercedes-Benz W220 S500 Front - Mercedes-Benz brake pads Front - Mercedes-Benz R350 Rotors Front - Hub centric rings for rotor centering All - Stainless steel braided lines Master cylinder brace (strut tower mounted) Wheel specs: White Toyota Supra MKIV TT wheels (17x8" front, 17x9.5" rear) Continental Extreme Contact 235/45/17 Front, 285/40/17 Rear 1.25" wheel spacers, front only
