Zero's video: The Warburton Effect: Trailer

@The Warburton Effect: Trailer
Jesus Christ… We lose yet another west London derby this season and it’s once again a 3-1 loss to Brentford. The performances against Cardiff and Swansea are irrelevant now because we are back to our old state of being embarrassed over and over again. Brentford showed why they are 3rd in the league and also the gap of quality there is between teams in this league. I suppose it’s good Wells got his 13th goal of the season but we need the whole team to perform if we want a chance not only to win games but do well in the championship. Those premier league days are long gone and I think with these performances they won't come back any sooner. Let's get into what happened in the game. It was an even start until the 19th minute came around. Brentford had a free kick on the far right side of the box. It was driven low towards Benrahma whose shot found the bottom corner for 1-0 to Brentford. The second goal on 23 minutes came from a poor clearance from Lumley which was hooked forward to Mbeumo. Cameron was under the ball and with his track record with headers, it wasn’t surprising that the ball was headered backwards which allowed Mbeumo to get his foot on the ball to knock it past Lumley who was stranded. The 3rd goal on 33 minutes came from another free-kick which was played to the right side of the box. It was headered towards Watkins who was arriving to head the ball into an empty net. QPR got the 4th goal of the game to make it 3-1 after a 1,2 between BOS and Chair which allowed Bright to square it to Nahki Wells who tapped home into an empty net. Looking at how we conceded from the goals 2 came from a free-kick and the other came from 2 defensive errors. How could we have prevented the first goal? No-one was tracking Benrahma as he drifted towards the penalty spot which gave him so much space to see what he could do. We could’ve man marked them but obviously, it could work against us because players could be dragged out of position but in the situation, it should’ve happened How could we have prevented the second goal? When the ball is played back to the keeper they don’t always need to clear the ball first time as we have seen a few times this season it has lead to us being attacked immediately. There was another mistake leading up to the goal. It was Cameron header which was too weak to go back to Lumley. What I think we could have done is if you are under pressure like that jut head it out for a corner, at least you know you can regroup. How could we have prevented the third goal? The player that headered the ball into the penalty area should have been tightly marked and challenged for the header because all the attackers need to do after the ball is sent in is to get a touch on the ball to send it goalwards and that means it’s going to go in. I think that’s all that is needed to be said about that goal. Let's look at our goal. We played a quick 1,2 to get past one defender and it allowed space to cross low into the box for a simple finish if it’s that easy to cut a team like Brentford open like that, there is no reason we wouldn’t be able to grab a few more goals. Obviously, they are professionals I wouldn’t be able to be as good as them and they are always going to get criticised for small things and people normally remember the big mistakes, not the player doing well. An example is Karius in the champions league final 2018. Recently Joe Lumley has deleted his twitter account after all the hate he has been getting and I find it’s disrespectful. If you are criticising someone give them ways to improve their mistakes, that’s what I’m trying to do. Let's get behind our boys one result is just a building block for us, we learn from those mistakes, a big result against Leeds is needed. We beat them 2 times last year so lets beat them again next time at W12 COME ON YOU RS!
