Here's a fun update on Mustang "Cora". Her adopter, Stacey Melito, finally got to ride her wild horse for the first time. This was a pretty big deal for them both. Stacey has been very committed to this process and i have had her working Cora extensively on the ground with Cora and riding my Mustang gelding Taz to get a better seat and understanding of what I teach these horses. Stacey had been taking "Riding Lessons" for quite awhile but we figured out fairly quickly that they were counter to actually having good riding skills. Stepping up on a Mustang for the first time can be a little nerve wracking so I kind of surprised her this day after warming Cora up myself and told her to "Grab your helmet"! She did great !
