Die Bahnstrecke Küchwald–Obergrüna war eine nur dem Güterverkehr dienende Nebenbahn in Chemnitz-Sachsen. Sie verlief vom Güterbahnhof Küchwald in Chemnitz nach Grüna und mündete dort in die heute nicht mehr bestehende Bahnstrecke Limbach–Wüstenbrand ein. 2004 wurde die Strecke stillgelegt. Im Film wird mit einer Kleinlokomotive gefahren, die auf den Namen -Kö- hört. Die Bezeichnung -Kö- ergab sich aus K für Kleinlokomotive und ö für ölbefeuert. Geplant ist nun ein Radweg auf dieser ehemaligen Gleisanlage...
