Music video swiped from an old kiddie show called "Peppermint Place," a fairly low budget program, produced locally in Dallas by WFAA which was syndicated at some point.. "Peppermint Place" would often feature music videos featuring homemade (or store bought) puppets, performing other people's songs.. Everything from stale outdated top 40 hits from yesteryear, modern kiddie songs, random tracks from children's film soundtracks, and whatever crappy vinyl the producers had laying around the house from their childhood got the low-budget PP-MV treatment.. And it never seemed like the puppeteers knew the songs they were performing to, since the mouth movements always looked like guesswork.
