I've already used this song for a montage about Kanaeva, but when I heard this cover, the only thing I could think about was Ganna's journey to her Olympic bronze. In 2012, she had to qualify from the test event and then went on to place 10th, the last spot in finals. After losing her clubs right at the very last moment, she was out of the medals in the Worlds coming into the Olympics, but overcame this and had 8 clean routines to become the Olympic bronze medalist. To her, I'm sure that Olympic bronze felt like gold.
