Come with me as Nitu Chandra makes me Indian chai with director Kellie Madison of Never Back Down: Revolt! Nitu would be making me some Indian chai from scratch before we sit down to chat about Never Back Down: Revolt, the latest entry in the Never Back Down film series. The films are very action- and martial arts-heavy, and Nitu even got to do her own stunts! Nitu has been making chai for her family for many years. She then began grinding ginger, cardamom, and more. Then, she added the herbs to the milk and boiling water and waited for it to boil. Next, she added sugar and ground loose tea leaves. Finally, it was ready. She strained the chai and we were ready to drink and chat! The chai was piping hot, but slurping made it a little cooler. I loved the ginger and cardamom in it! Then, we sat down to talk about Never Back Down: Revolt. We chatted about everything from Kellie being a female director fronting a female-driven action movie to the challenges Kellie faced as a female director while making the movie. I loved the action and suspense in the film. We also talked about me being a feminist and how I want my daughters to grow up with no limitations. I believe if women ran every government in the world, the world would be a much better place! All in all, we had was an amazing, fascinating chat, and I hope you guys enjoy it!
