Do you feel like sometimes you can do little things that make a difference? Practice and support Responsible tourism is one way to put yourself into that group: minimizes negative social, economic, and environmental impacts. generates greater economic benefits for local people and enhances the well-being of host communities. Like you, we are always looking for ways to give back and really improve the conditions of the local communities. As of 2018, 65% of the population is under the age of 25. Poverty still is one of the major issue in Cambodia even when their tourism sectors are growing very fast prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many Cambodians struggle to make ends meet. Especially for families in rural areas that earn less than $2 per day and cannot afford to build their own drinking water wells or even send their children to school. So before we visit Cambodia, we wanted to find a legitimate non-profit organization that would assist us to find the right groups of people in need and show us where our donation would go. There are many of them out there that promise to help the locals in need, not everyone delivers. The purpose of this video is to share our true experiences with one of the non-profit, non-religious, independently operated organization: CAMBODIAN COMMUNITY DREAM ORGANIZATION (CCDO) In hope that you would obtain enough information from this video, so that you can make your own decision when choosing a non-profit organization in Cambodia.
