Tanzania authorities have been urged to harmonize the charges on Ugandan trucks entering the country in order to attract more cargo traffic on the central corridor route. Ugandan registered trucks continue to pay $500 while Burundi and Rwanda who are also member states of the central corridor, pay $152 entering Tanzania and vice versa. This was observed at the 13th stakeholders conference held virtually by the member states.
