In the past year and a half since starting I have since then done my own studies in binding methods, however for a good chunk of time early on I only studied the old books around me, wanting to find my own style before perfecting techniques (although I would recommend doing it the other way around lol). Now a year and some later I've found a mix of sustainably salvaging vintage pieces, papers, and fabrics to form decorated journals & sketchbooks.
