Zayn's 'Like I Would' mashed up with the all time classic 'Never Gonna Give You Up' by Rick Astley! Make sure you don't miss the special bonus mashup at the end! Here's a quick timeline of events: Looking back through my files, I made my first test demo of the Zayn vs Rick mashup on 12 April 2016. I also uploaded to YouTube (in private) a demo video of the mashup on the same day. This was shortly after I had finished my Fifth Harmony 'Work From Home' mashup (which later got a worldwide ban on YouTube in 241 countries!). I actually finished the audio for the Zayn vs Rick mashup on 19 April 2016. I started to make a mashup video from performances Zayn had done of the song at that time but I really needed more footage to help me complete it as there were a few gaps in the video. I was very pleased when Zayn later released an official video for 'Like I Would' on 9 May 2016. I was then able to finish the mashup video on 14 May 2016. I had enjoyed making the mashup so decided to add a short extra one on the end along with credits and so on to give the mashup video a professional look. Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' is a very well known and overplayed song so I've worked extra hard to put a new spin on it.
