Studio 31 Media Archive's video: WTWO News at 11:00 Full 1 31 2022 New Graphics Music

Complete 11pm newscast from the Nexstar-owned NBC affiliate serving Terre Haute, Indiana. Recorded on Monday, January 31, 2022. This was the first day with their new graphics and music, which launched on the morning newscast. That day, WTWO launched the NBC-1 graphics package and Stream from Stephen Arnold Music. Sean Caldwell was also brought in as the voiceover artist, replacing Marc Preston. Oddly, WAWV did not receive a new look at this time. WTWO also went all in on the "Your News Now" slogan that they've been working in a bit on both stations. It's not the worst slogan I've heard but not the best either. WTWO is a solid second place station behind CBS affiliate WTHI. Hurting the fact more than anything is that WTWO still only produces 5:30-7am, 6pm, and 11pm newscasts, which is a fairly low output for a modern operation. That said, WAWV does have noon and 5pm newscasts from the same staff. So the team IS producing news between the mornings and 6pm, at the least. Anchored by Mike Tank and Shelby Reilly, with weather from chief meteorologist Jesse Walker, and sports from sports director Grant Pugh.
