Full length 6:30pm newscast taken from the Scripps-managed, SagamoreHill-owned CBS affiliate serving the Coastal Bend and Corpus Christi area, recorded on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. In a game of contrasts, here's what they looked like prior to launching the Scripps look the following week. Content and presentation-wise, it's not much different from what they have now. The changes are purely cosmetic. And no, this is not much different than what they had at 10pm, but for the interest of posterity, I figured I'd archive a 6:30pm show too. They are using a recolored version of the VideoHive package "Complete News Package 7" which can be yours as well for just $63. Astute viewers will notice that Estrella TV Network also uses this package, in its original colors, for their local newscasts. Extreme from Stephen Arnold Music is the theme they have been using since 2007, and continue to use with the Scripps graphics now. Harry Schultz is the station voiceover, but is not used in the opens here (they were using a generic open until the Scripps graphics launched). Anchored by Paul Mueller, along with weather from chief meteorologist Sharon Ray. The KZTV newscasts currently do not contain any sports segments. Includes a report from Andy Liscano.
