Studio 31 Media Archive's video: KMID ABC Big 2 News Opens 3 1 2022 New Graphics Music

Montage of opens, talent bumps, and the 7.25 am news update from Nexstar's ABC affiliate serving the Midland/Odessa/Big Spring, TX market. All were recorded on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, the day after they debuted their new look and sound. It all debuted on yesterday's 5am newscast. Out is "Aerial" for music and in is "Stream", both from Stephen Arnold Music. Voiceover is still Charlie Van Dyke. Graphics are now MOD-1 package also used by KOIN, WFLA, WGNO, WJBF, WKRN, WJHL, and others I'm probably missing. Oddly, it appears only the 6pm newscast has a talent bump. I know the midday show has one as they ran it on Monday but they didn't punch it up yesterday. A new look/logo is in the works for sister Fox station KPEJ as well, but as of this writing, it has not yet debuted. For now, the "McDonald's pie box" logo and old graphics reminding you they are in HD are still be used there.
