Full length 9pm newscast from the low-power Fox affiliate serving Laredo, Texas that's owned by Entravision. This show was recorded on Friday, February 11, 2022. This newscast is pretty bad for what it is. I don't need to break it all down for you or pick it all apart. Entravision went back to producing a separate Fox show for Laredo sometime last year, after previously simulcasting KFXV's 9pm newscast from the adjacent Rio Grande Valley market. It is still produced by the same team that produces the KFXV shows, so it is not a local broadcast, and is taped in advance in McAllen. It focuses more on Laredo however, compared to the previous format that pretty much ignored. It's produced by the same staff that produces news for the Univision shows, and at times it shows. They are using some of the Univision graphics for weather, for two boxes, full screens on the monitor behind the anchor, and transitions. Graphics appear to be bought off of VideoHive.net, and music is a production track from Universal Production Music entitled "The Real Authority" (whatever that means). A random cut of the OSI Fox Affiliate News Theme lives on in the close. The opens do not have a voiceover, and the station doesn't really have a voiceover artist contracted to them either, using various station staffers where needed. Anchored by Thalia Gonzalez and Robin Gwenn, who also anchors weather. Magalia Vega anchors sports. Includes reports from Judith Rayo, Jonathan Serrie (Fox News), Mandy Gaither (CNN Newsource), CJ Papa (Fox News), and David Daniel (CNN Newsource). Commercials were edited out, station promos and IDs are retained. All sports highlights, as well as all movie trailer clips during Daniel's segment have been blacked out due to copyright issues.
