Got all the parts from Home Depot: - half inch plywood - fluorescent fixtures / bulbs - decorative molding for the sides - a silver grate / louver thing to block the glare It cost about $250 - the molding was about eighty bucks (it's very light weight some sort of compressed styrofoam stuff) so if you wanted to go cheaper you could use paneling or whatever you wanted... That's $250 for both actually (I made two 2 x 4 lamps and connected them together - I may mount a camera in between them someday...) It has 6 four foot daylight tubes total and it's the electric kind that doesn't buzz at all :) It came out great!
