... and so I was encouraged to update my outdated high score guide and decided to do a run while the game was still fresh in my head. When I had my previous PB run, I had just finished creating my original guide so I figured why not give it a shot this time. Unfortunately I was not fully prepared to record today, let alone a 110k run, and didn't bring my phone stand so I tried to make due with recording the segments inbetween the chapters. Thank God they removed the annoying Blitz machine adjacent to HotD, it allowed me to finally concentrate. I wonder who left 2 tokens in the game before I got there, maybe it was GAR, sucks that I still had to insert 2 more so that I can input the score code. So new personal best 110,080!! And most likely an unofficial record of some sort, maybe a world record? Blew away my old PB of 106500 set 17 years ago and can now put that score to rest. Now what am I going to do with all these left over Go Kart World Tokens?
