Today we’re launching our two-part series, The Rules of Dating. Over the course of the next two episodes, you’re going to learn ten simple steps to plan a first date and how to select the correct day of the week for a first, second, or third date. Are you tired of going on awkward first dates in San Francisco? Is meeting at a coffee shop getting a little “been there, done that?” Want to know how to easily guarantee a great first date? I’ll show you… In this episode of EmLovzTV I’m going to share with you 10 crucial rules for creating a memorable first date. Here goes… Rule SAFETY IS PRIORITY: Choose a safe neighborhood to meet. Rule DAYTIME = PLAYTIME: Always plan daytime dates when you’re meeting someone for the first time. Rule FREE-PARKING: Select a location with a free parking lot that is close by and preferably ground level only. Women feel threatened when they're all alone in a big parking garage. We've been taught that creepers hang out in these places waiting to steal our purse or jump in the car when we're getting in. Rule COMFORT IS KING: Chairs should be comfortable. Rule SCENT SELLS: Scent is important. Try a classy tea lounge and order a fragrant Jasmine tea. The tranquil smell will put you at ease and make your date much more receptive. Rule FALSE TIME CONSTRAINT: Set a time constraint so she knows she won't have to make up an excuse to get out of the date if it sucks. Rule PREPARATION IS KEY: If you’re a guy, have the 2nd and 3rd date already planned in your mind and get her to commit to the 2nd date halfway through the 1st. Rule SET THE MOOD WITH MUSIC: Go somewhere with jazz or coffeehouse music that isn't too loud. This should subconsciously set you both at ease. Rule TOUCH IS VITAL: Make sure to touch her at some point when its not awkward. My favorite way to do this is to have a funny video cued up on your phone. The phone is small so she'll have to stand close to you to see it. Men, wear a nice cologne and have some part of your bodies touching. Don't be a creeper here!!!! It can be your shoulder, it doesn't have to be obvious. Small touches here and there create sexual tension and are required if you want to avoid the friendzone.
