The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has launched at ₹12.74 lakh (ex-showroom), for the Zeta trim, with prices going all the way up to ₹15.05 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end Alpha AT (dual-tone) trim. The Jimny is equipped with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that puts out 103.3bhp & 134.2Nm, and can be had either with a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. Maruti Suzuki claims the fuel economy will be 16.94kmpl for the MT, and 16.39kmpl for the AT. But is the Jimny better than the Thar and the Gurkha?
