Jaguar has unveiled its striking new Type 00 Concept, showcasing the brand’s reimagined identity under the tagline "Copy Nothing." This concept is a full reset of Jaguar’s history, breaking away from traditional designs and paving the way for a bold electric future. The Type 00, an all-electric concept, features a futuristic design with upright flush surfaces at the front, a new Jaguar script on the faux grille, and a striking fastback profile riding on 23-inch wheels. Unique details include hand-finished brass ingots hiding rear-facing cameras and a boat tail rear end with no rear windshield. Instead, there’s a vertically deploying glassless tailgate, horizontal slats, and integrated taillight signatures. Inside, the Type 00 offers a luxurious two-seat cabin with a central divider, heavy use of bronze accents, and separate screens for the driver and passenger. While still a concept, it offers a glimpse into Jaguar’s future design and innovation. Making its debut at Miami Art Week, the Type 00 is not slated for production, but Jaguar’s first reimagined electric car—a four-door GT—is set to arrive in late 2025. Built on Jaguar’s dedicated Electric Architecture, the new model will target a range of up to 770km (WLTP) and support rapid charging, adding 321km of range in just 15 minutes.
