excelsior27's video: Quinnipiac s Bobcat Roar

@Quinnipiac's "Bobcat Roar"
FS ; FSV # 183. You notice? It is the only school in NCAA D-1 that begins with the letter Q, and it is part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. This fight song was recently created in the past few years and it was introduced at Midnight Madness there. The private school located in Hamden, which is actually a suburb of New Haven, Connecticut and the campus borders has a road that leads to Yale. The teams used to be named "Braves", but due to pressure by American Indians and NCAA, the name was retired in 2001. The song if you listen closely, is like a mirror image- on line 1 there is a high point in the melody and used again on line 7. Lines 3 & 5 in the melody have the same notes also. A note on stanza 3-it will be a bit difficult to sing-the word that will determine your mastery of singing the fight song is "underneath". If you mess up there, stanza 4 will be hard to sing also. Practice is definitely needed to timely sing along with the song on stanzas 3-4. This was done as the Bobcats were MAAC champions in Women's NCAA Basketball in 2015. You like the song of the Bobcats of the Northeast? Comment nicely. (C) Excelsior27/30 productions, all rights reserved. (I do not own rights to the song, but I do for the vid.)
