Solicitor General Mohan Parasaran has tagged the Jan Lokpal Bill brought by the Aam Aadmi Party government as 'unconstitutional'. He further said that the Lieutenant Governor's prior approval is necessary to pass the Bill. Parasaran's opinion was sought by L-G Najeeb Jung regarding the constitutionality of the Bill as it was passed without the consent of the Cabinet. To this Parasaran stated that it would be unconstitutional.
