Ratings are based on both tests, but the vehicle specifications and photos are provided for the Institute's test. Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled in both tests. The driver side curtain airbag deployed during the crash. After the dummy moved forward into the frontal airbag, its head contacted the side curtain airbag.
