@Skylanders Giants - Chapter 4 Time Attack [6:48 ~ Gill Grunt / Tree Rex]
CHAPTER 4: CUTTHROAT CARNIVAL [6m 48s] I see a brief deja vu moment here with Pirate Seas. Said level's music is shared with the Skystones matches in this game; Dreadbeard and his scurvy sea dogs are present; people are scared out of their wits of coming here; and on top of that, the time attack operated in a similar way, this time the in-game timer doesn't run during the Skystones games. Coincidental? Anyway, I mostly went through the game with Gill Grunt due to the enemy types here benefiting his stats, as well as a great water boost mid-way through. Tree Rex was towed in for the Feat of Strength and the prison sequence. Loading Platform 1 - No problems here. Concessions (no, I don't want any more candy, had more than enough this Halloween night x_X) - Was expecting the Drow Archers to jump down. Very tenacious fight against the Mohawk Cyclopes though. Loading Platform 2 [1] - Those Chompies can be a brief burden with the block puzzle here. Not to mention the second one reacted a bit oddly. House of Cards - Fangs's Skystones game. And in spite of an odd set of defenses, this game went down PERFECTLY. Loading Platform 2 [2] - A brave run against the Goliath Drow. The armored Chompies didn't go down as well as I expected though. The Promenade - Now here's where Gill Grunt's power works out for the better, especially with there being THREE Goliath Drows in this section. Thankfully they all came in one at a time. Switch to Tree Rex went great, as did the Feat of Strength. The Galleon - No problems here. The Promenade - What a way to CRUSH the Mohawk Cyclopes! :D Pirate Prison - Brilliant charge into Bandit's cell. I found it funny the music didn't change for the Skystones game though (speedrun error?), but that didn't stop another great match that couldn't have gone any better. :D Pirate Island - Solid switch back to Gill Grunt. Quite a... fishy (bad pun!) run against the Axecutioners, but the key segment as a whole was brave yet very swift, give or take a brief stumble in the middle. The Crow's Nest - Again, those Axecutioners could've gone down better, but the majority of Dreadbeard's guards went down rather swiftly either way. Dreadbeard's Skystones games took a bit more thought than the usual due to the elemental board, not to mention he took one of my stones, but still was pretty decent. And my final thought... on first playthrough, since Blobbers gives you a Skystone only AFTER defeating Fangs, he got what was coming. Sadism is me, I guess. Thank you ^_^
