CHAPTER 10: AERIAL ATTACK! [12m 50s] Yes, you are reading it right. I ALMOST SOLO'D THIS ENTIRE VILE STAGE WITH FRIGHT RIDER. To give a good idea on how tough it is, yearofthe's first run (through SpyrosKingdom) cost him around 15 Skylanders on the way to completion, and he was playing on Medium. So to go through 95% of it with ONE on Hard is considered to be a HUGE feat. Why did I use Fright Rider? Mostly because of the Undead boosts here, and the enemy swarms make his jousting combos very affective to use here. I also saw that Undead Skylanders do great in the turrets too, launching twin skulls that are surprisingly powerful. Of course, Bash was brought in the end when battle had driven him weary. Dread-Yacht 1 - NOT A SCRATCH. Mace Majors - owned. Gun Deck 1 - Shooting section 1. Those bullets catch me off-guard every single time. Didn't quite have much luck with my aiming on the last few mini-ships, but otherwise this was pretty decent. Dread-Yacht 2 - NOT THAT DAMN JAWBREAKER AGAIN. That coupled with the Drow Archers made this more painful than this should've been. Timing was pretty good. The Ghost Ship - That Goliath Drow almost cost the run. Care had to be taken with this particular part of the fight. Dread-Yacht 3 - Nothing to say here. Gun Deck 2 - I guess I forgot the watermelon that I dropped here earlier. Oh well. Onto shooting section 2. Just like the last one, that was quick and rather risky, though still manageable. The Spectral Dreadnought 1 - Just a run to the elevator... ho-hum. Tiger's Citadel - Fright Rider 2, Mace Majors 0. Cannon went down on first opportunity. Missed the bomb to finish off the Jawbreaker, but at least it went down before it could get back up. Propeller Array - Must admit I wasn't too careful at the beginning at all. Otherwise seemed to go okay. Dragon's Tower - And it's 3-0 on Fright Rider's ownage on the Mace Majors! Cannon went down quickly too. Wish I could say the same about the Goliath Drow. Propeller Array 2 - Not sure why I hit the switch. Thought it triggered the next area AS WELL as the Air Elemental Gate. The Spectral Dreadnought 2 - BEAUTIFUL bout against the first Goliath Drow. Can't say the same for the Pyro Archers tho. Still am saying that that's the FOURTH time that he avoided damage from the Mace Majors. :D Could've been faster against the first Chompy Bot, but it's still okay. The level up came JUST at the right time - THAT mess of an encounter before the gates opened. Two Goliath Drow and a Chompy Bot; not quite as beautiful with the former two. Machineworks - Don't mind me looking around for food before going on. Was tentative with the second wall of bashing blocks tho. Otherwise did good. Phoenix's Maw - Oops... my luck with the Mace Majors had ran out. And sadly for Fright Rider, two Goliath Drow and a Jawbreaker appeared to be a recipe for disaster. Hence the unsteady eleventh hour switch to Bash, whom proceeded to own the lot and take out the cannon. Didn't sense any more timing mistakes once he came out. Thank you ^_^
