So... looks as if the Sonic Zone competition is heating up. Sadly... I lost to Amphibious in the Sonic Bracket Final. ;_; It was a good ride though, and I felt I gave it my all, but in spite of this, I DEFINITELY didn't want to stop just yet. In the weekend that passed, I faced a handful of people asking me to see if I could mix my source choice of the Emerald Hill 2P version theme from Sonic 2 with the Planet Wisp music from Sonic Colors. Planet Wisp was represented in the contest by long-time partner Brandon Strader, whom also was eliminated in round 4. In the week during the voting for the Sonic Bracket Final, I had got around to checking out last year's 'Songs For The Cure' compilation, which raises money to fight cancer. Regardless of the genres chosen, the tracks generally had a consistent emotive quality, something that I emphasized almost too well with my arrangements circa 2005. Feeling that I needed to add something calmer to compliment the more vivid tones of my contest submissions, as well as bringing out a more emotive streak from myself, those set upon the tones for this task. This also marks my first vid done in WIDESCREEN! That DEFINITELY shows how much I love my new computer in regards to handling these things well. Also also also...
