garry Kerr's video: The Grain Races

@The Grain Races
Gustav Erikson of Finland owned the last great fleet of square rigged sailing ships the world would ever see. He employed them in the last trade left to the sailing ships in the 1920's and 30's, the carriage of grain from Australia to Finland by way of Cape Horn. With each captain eager to take the least number of days on the voyage, these annual events became known as 'The Grain Races'. We here first hand accounts from the men who sailed in these ships.
