Robie Kirk (Winfield Scott ?) recorded this in NYC Sept 1945 with the Tab Smith Orch. After looking up Robie Kirk on the internet I discovered that he may be the song writer Winfield Scott. It all seems to tie together with Mayo Williams (who wrote this tune) Tab Smith, & Otis Blackwell. If so then he wrote some big hits for people like La Vern Baker, Elvis Presley, & Connie Francis. Does anyone out there know ?
