@It's Tight Like That - Jimmie Noone's Apex Club Orch

Jimmie Noone (b.1895- d.1944) Grew up in New Orleans La. and is one of the greatest clarinet players of the 1920s. Played with some famous orchestras like King Oliver's and Doc Cook's Dreamland Orch. In 1927 he lead his own band at the Apex Club in Chicago. 1928 he joined with Earl Hines on piano to record for the Vocalion label. "It's Tight Like That" was recorded Dec. 27th 1928. Flip side is "Let's Sow A Wild Oat" I have two copies of this disc. I used the blue label disc for the better sound.
