I took the students in my class, Applied Geomorphology, back to the site where field work in the Oregon Coast Range began for me back in 1999. I hadn't been to this spot since 2000, and I'd never seen it with flowing water! Everyone made it there and back without injury, and there were more smiles at the end of the day than at the beginning. Success!
