geomorphdog's video: Science Vlog: Regular Duties

This video discusses the deep-cycle batteries used to power the RFID reader in the field, how to recharge those batteries, and shows the changing of those batteries, a procedure that includes checking system power usage before and after the battery change. The batteries we use are Trojan T105, with a 20-hour capacity (C_20) of 225 Amp-hours. Accompaniment for timelapse video of battery change-out is "Billy Two" composed by Kilgour, Kilgour, and Scott and performed by The Clean in 1981 and released on EP Boodle, Boodle, Boodle by Flying Nun Records in 1981 (later released on Compilation in New Zealand by Flying Nun Records in 1986 and in the US by Homestead Records in 1988).
