geomorphdog's video: Science Vlog: RFID for Sediment Transport

@Science Vlog: RFID for Sediment Transport
This video offers an overview of the method of using radiofrequency identification (RFID) to measure gravel bedload transport rate and the installation of that system in Oak Creek, Oregon. The system employs the Oregon RFID Multi-Antenna HDX Reader and three stationary antennas fastened to the stream bed, as well as thousands of pieces of gravel, each of which has been "tagged" with passive integrated transponders (PIT tags). Our project, and this video, were supported by the National Science Foundation, Geomorphology and Land-use Dynamics (EAR 1452091).
