L'impianto di depurazione delle acque reflue di Storo in provincia di Trento è un impianto moderno ed efficente. Nella provincia di Trento lo standard di depurazione è molto alto e permette al territorio di avere fiumi e laghi con una qualità dell'acqua di alto livello. Peccato però che il lago d'Idro dove confluiscono le acque depurate dell'impianto di Storo (nel territorio trentino) sia invece trascurato dalla vicina provincia di Brescia che non ha costruito impianti per salvaguardare il lago e il fiume Chiese.
