This video is demonstrating a cheater menu I have created for the gensplus emulator ported to the wii. Basically, in the publicly available version of this emulator, there is just a black screen and you can enter up to 5 codes manually. This is very cumbersome and annoying, so I created this menu... It is reading cheat files from the sd card ( or wherever the rom was started from ). The cheat format is something I created called ".ggp" files. These files support gamegenie and action replay codes as well as comments with no limit on their length. My version of snes9x also supports this format of codes. The start of the video shows my collection of sega ".ggp" files which were created by running a converter over all the official galoob codebooks. It amounted to over 10,000 codes for over 250 games. The rest of the video just shows some of the codes in action. As you can see, the codes can be turned on and off in the middle of the game. There are, however, some codes that don't work as expected. I'm not sure if this is due to different versions of the game, a copy/paste error somewhere between when galoob made the codes 15 years ago and now, or what. At any rate, the ".ggp" file format is human-readable and the files can be easily edited in a text editor, so codes can be added/deleted/fixed/blablabla.
