Being safe for swimming, it is crowded with tourists, especially during rainy season. You can directly let the water pour over your body. The road leading to the spot of the fall is full of curvings and ups and downs, with pleasant greenery all around. You can enjoy bathing and swimming at both sides of the fall. There is a small cave-type space at the stream-side, often used for keeping tiffin – material etc. you can reach this picnic  spot by a tar-road Bombay-Goa-Highway (NH-17) either from Otav Fork or from Belane Fork. Distance from Otav – 9km, Distance from Belane- 6km. Nearest Railway Station-Nandgaon. Accommodation : Hotels are available near kankavli Getting There : 10 Kms from Kankavli town. It's advised to travel by your own vehicle as frequency of State Transport buses is very less. By Air: Nearest airport is dabolim. By Rail : Nearest railway station is kankavli.
