Self-love is an introspective prioritization of self, aiming at a deeper love and acceptance of self. It is seen as the key to the love of others and the love of God, because as long as there is discontent with self, we are unable to full devote ourselves over to love. Although that sounds nice, in this video I want to offer a deeper perspective. God is not anti-self love. The Bible tells us to "love your neighbor as yourself." If you struggling with self-love, you will struggle with having the time and energy to love others well. In this video I will discuss my deeper perspective of self love, foundational components on self love, and what Christ centered self-love is all about.
