Why? * He decides to enter the Iranian wedding singer market after years of absence. * He fails to reinvent and relaunch himself successfully among Iranians. * But he does corner the wedding party scene in the NY NJ area thru word of mouth and good performances. * His vocal ability: pitch perfect with machine accuracy like many good international singers, (Sinatra was often out of tune and in fact had a song on the subject, Andrea Bocelli is terrible in that department) * His English with a heavy accent, many other languages, his range, stability * Why did so many like I fail to notice him? * Studio techniques make everyone sound pitch perfect and similar. * Persian 6/8 dance beat is ridiculous and makes all persian dance music sound repetitive. Persian music videos directed by KOJI all look the same, with ridic exaggerated colors. That man had never visited a visual art museum. * The name ALI-Morad is just a bad stage name in a time and place where most Persians dont care abt Ali or any sounding like the funny character from the old TV show Morad the electrician. But he had to use his old name to connect with his successful career in Iran in the 60s.
