My guest today is Arcelia Martinez who is Artist-in-Residence at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center in Oxnard. She is a filmmaker and I’ve asked her here to the Women’s Room today to talk about the documentary film she is making about Young Latina Women for which she has received an Arts Council Grant. the film is an outcome of the Esperanza Project designed as a remedy for the isolation of some young Latina teens and young women.
