Today she gets some incredible "ripe and ugly" tomatoes, garlic, and onions from Sang Lee Farms, and makes simple and delicious tomato crostini. She pairs the dish with an Australian rose wine based on the San Giovese grape, which is the basis for chianti, a very tomato friendly wine, and it is indeed a terrific match.
