a winter day shot with canon 5DMⅡ with steadicammerlin. スティーブン・スピルバーグ監督の映画、「SAYURI」にておいて、主演のチャン・ツィー、コン・リーや桃井かおりが身につけた丸帯は、合資会社後藤が織ったもの。 合資会社　後藤織物（群馬県桐生市） 初代後藤定吉は、明治三年（1870年）に現在地に居を構え、明治十年に絹綿交織を考案し、いち早く洋式染色技術の導入をはかり、明治初期の桐生織物に大きな貢献を果たした。 合資会社後藤の建物は数が多く、その時期も明治前期、大正、昭和の戦前、戦後と多岐にわたり、主屋をはじめとする建物群の構成は、染色・撚糸・製織といった織物生産システムをそのまま現している。現当主は四代後藤隆造で桐生織の伝統を引き継いでいる。その製品は七五三祝帯「都恋人とれんど」、袋帯その他「栄基堂」ブランドで百貨店、有名小売店を中心に販売している。 撮影されている工場は、数ある建物群の一つであり、切妻造の工場に鋸屋根工場を増築したもので、桐生における機業の戦後復興を物語る一つである。 現在、主屋他建造物群は、登録有形文化財（建物物）第10-0159〜0169に登録されている。 The sash made　of one piece of colth fastened by main movie stars of the film "SAYURI"by superintendent Steven Spielberg was woven by Goto textile manufacturer.     Goto textile manufacturer limited partnership "Kiryu City Gunma Prefecture"  The founder of the company Sadakichi Goto was settled in the present site. He invented the weave with mixture of silver and cotton and was the first to introduce　the western dyeing tecnique and thus contributeｄ　a great deal　to the textile industry in the first period of Meiji era.    Goto Company posses many buildings built at widely different times: the first period of Meiji era, Taisho and showa beofre and after the war. The structure of each building groups shows the manufacturing system　of textile as dyeing, thrown silk and weaving as it was. The present owner of the company Ryuzo Goto, the fourth generation, has taken over the tradition of Kiryu textile industry. Its products, Shichi-Go-San festival sash, "City Lover Fashion", bag-girdle and brand name "Eikido" are sold mainly at department stores and wellknown retail stores.    The pictured factory is one　of the numerous building groups. It　is a gable -end factory enlarged with a saw-roof factory.  It is one　example、which tells us about the recovery of textile industry in Kiryu after the war.    Now the main building and other factory groups are registered as concrete cultural asset No.10-0159-0169.
