Poking Technology's video: Hjalfi ports Fuzix to the ESP8266: 1: getting the kernel to compile

@Hjalfi ports Fuzix to the ESP8266: #1: getting the kernel to compile
In whch yr hmbl svt starts a potentially long-running series of porting the Fuzix mini-Unix operating system to the ESP8266, an absurdly cheap and surprisingly flexible wifi module with a 32-bit processor, some flash, and about 150kB of RAM. The ESP8266 is an exceedingly strange device, based around a Xtensa LX106 32-bit CPU, and is completely unsuited for running a Unix operating system on; which is what makes this fun! See http://cowlark.com/2021-02-09-esp8266-fuzix for more information.
