祖谷渓・小便小僧. 祖谷渓・小便小僧. 深く切り込んだV字型の渓谷には、エメラルドグリーン色の祖谷川が流れ、上から覗き込めば、目がくらむほどはるか下に見える。秋には谷底から峰まで全山紅葉し、自動車、バスからも眺められる。祖谷川沿いの断崖には、祖谷街道の開設工事で残った岩が突き出ており、岩の上には、かつて地元の子供達や旅人が度胸試しをしたという逸話をもとに作られた小便小僧が立っている。
