A Trek to Valley of Flowers , Uttarakhand ,India Day 1 : Cochin – Bangalore (Bengaluru ) –Dehradun by Flight . From Dehradun Airport to our Hotel Riverside Resorts Garhwal (by road ). On the way you can see Devprayag. Note : Depending upon your time of arrival ,decide where to stay .Most of the people chooses Rishikesh for Day 1 stay . Day 2: Check out from Hotel Travel from Garhwal to Auli (by road ). On the way you can see Rudraprayag , Karnaprayag Check in at Himalayan Eco Lodge Hotel at Auli by noon. Village walk at Auli Note : If you want to travel economically & to save a day of travel , you can choose to travel from Rishikesh to Govindghat by direct bus at the morning. Day 3: From Auli to Govindghat (by private vehicle ) Biometric Registration at Govindghat From Govidghat to Ghangaria (by trek /mules /Helicopter / Palanquin ) Note :After the Uttarakhand flood in 2013, the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria has been enrouted at many places & the motorable access extended till Pulna Village. The distance from Govindghat to Pulna Village is 4km . So you can start your trekking from Govindghat or from Pulna Village. Check in at Hotel Note the following : • There are options for Tents in Ghangaria for stay • Beware of altitude difference & Acute Mountain Sickness Day 4: Valley Of Flowers Trek ( It got cancelled due to High Monsoon Alert) Village Walk at Ghangaria Day 5: Valley Of Flowers Trek Note :Initially it was Hemkund trek we scheduled for day 5 Day 6 : Check out from Hotel at Ghangaria From Ghangaria to Pulna Village (by trek ) From Pulna to Govindghat (by local vehicle ) From Govindghat to Auli (by road ) On the way you can see Vishnuprayag & try cable car experience at Joshimath ropeway station Check in at Hotel Day 7: Check out From Auli to Haridwar (by road ) Check in at Hotel Fortune Park, Haridwar Note: I won’t recommend you this hotel unless you need to travel in Delhi route .It’s far from Dehradun Airport & Har Ki Pauri. From hotel to Har Ki Pauri (by Tuk Tuk ) Haridwar street food Joints Day 8: Check out from Hotel Last minute shopping & tasting street foods near Har Ki Pauri . To Dehradun Airport (by taxi ) Dehradun - Bangalore (Bengaluru ) – Cochin (by flight ).
