Jerdon's bush lark or Jerdon's lark is a species of lark in the family Alaudidae found in south Asia. A heavy-billed, chunky brown bird with a short tail. Its breast is covered in arrow-like markings and has strong above striping. With dark cheeks and an undefined brow, the face has an unkempt facial pattern. Overall, juveniles are frequently paler. The Jerdon's Bushlark is comparable to the Indian and Singing Bushlarks, but it has stronger streaking, a rounder appearance, and a shorter tail than any of the other two. Bengal Bushlark-like in size, while Jerdon's Bushlark is paler and has browner wings. It lives in open brush and frequently rests on wires and trees.
