One of those important changes was the revision of damage models for all aircraft including wings and engines. Wings are much harder to break with the new damage model which means aircraft are now shot down more realistically. It is even more important now to aim at the aircraft's center of mass in the hopes of hitting an important component such as the engine or the pilot. So after making several damage model videos, I decided to try flying in the online server to see how the overall damage model appears. I shot down a BF110 and an He-111. The wings on the He-111 still seem rather strong compared to other aircraft. I could expect them to be somewhat stronger but not unbreakable.
