Activists once again targeted Kedassia Poultry Ltd on an industrial estate in Fish Island Hackney Wick east London. Activists waiting to witness chickens being taken in to the slaughterhouse missed the transport and unloading of the animals, where roughly 3 thousand chickens are brought to be killed in one load. Chickens are normally only six weeks old before being brought in for slaughter to end up in fast food amongst other uses. A very young activist saw an opportunity to get inside the premises through a small access door and a few other activists followed her in. Workers from the slaughterhouse soon started to eject the activists forcefully, but the young activist became trapped inside while the workers attempted to close the access door. In an attempt to get her out activists blocked the door with their feet and pushed the door with their hands to keep it open, but during this one activists shoe became trapped inbetween the door and frame with the chance of crushing her foot, and then trapping the toe of another activists trainer while he had attempted to free the first activists foot. The young activist was released through the efforts of the adults and there were no injuries, or trauma reported.
