Bica Funicular or Ascensor da Bica, commissioned in 1926, covers a distance of 245 m along the Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo slope, ascending at a maximum gradient of approx. 12 degrees. Bica Funicular operates from 7 AM till 9 PM on weekdays and Saturdays and from 9 AM till 9 PM on Sundays and holidays. Frequency: 4-6 services / hour - each direction Lower station: Rua de São Paulo Upper station: Largo Calhariz Length: 245 m Inclination: 11.8 %
