indiavideo's video: Osaka Metro

@Osaka Metro
Osaka Metro operates an extensive rail network (route length 138 km and 133 stations) comprising of eight conventional metro rail lines and the Osaka Metro Nankō Port Town Line (or New Tram) which technically is an automated guideway transit (AGT). The oldest of the lines, the Midōsuji Line, was opened in 1933 and is Japan's second oldest metro line in service after Tokyo Metro's Ginza Line. The metro network is heavily used but service is efficient. The Midōsuji Line alone carried around 1.3 million daily passengers in 2015. The metro network is part of an extensive rail network in the Kansai region. Many of the metro stations have connection/transfer facilities with various suburban, regional and long-distance rail services/operators such as Japan Railways (JR), Keihan, Hanshin, Hankyu, Kintetsu and Nankai. This video was filmed in 2013.
