Spirits and the Melchizedek Children are a six-piece band fronted by Jason Elliott who originally began composing for the project with simply his voice and an acoustic guitar. Elliott is now joined by Chris Case, Joe McNeill, Bryan Fielden, Andrew Burnes, and Ryan Odom who have expanded Spirits' sound into something reminiscent of the hypnotic and haunting bastard child of post-rock. Spirits and the Melchizedek Children's newest LP, So Happy, It's Sad, will be available on March 4th, 2014.
