ingenioustv by Alister Chapman's video: 2016 Storm Chasing highlights

@2016 Storm Chasing highlights.
Here's a quick edit of some of the highlights of this years storm chasing trip (plus a few shots from previous years that seemed to fit). While we didn't see a tornado this year (there was only 1 very brief tornado while we were in the US) there were some incredible storms. The evening storm near Childress, Texas was stunning. As the storm was all on it' own and surrounded by otherwise crystal clear blue skies we had a great view of it. It was what us chasers call an "LP" Supercell, LP standing for low precipitation as there was not a huge amount of rain or hail. The entire storm was clearly spinning and rotating and it came so close to producing a tornado. After dark the lightning show was spectacular. This was all shot on my PMW-F5 in 4K raw. Edited with Adobe Premiere CC, graded with DaVinci Resolve. I used a Miller Solo tripod, Vocas base and top plates, PagLink batteries and as this will be getting re-graded in HDR I used an Atomos Shogun Flame to check the HDR exposure etc.
